Toilet Paper
Born from the collaboration between the contemporary artist Maurizio Cattelan and the photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari, Toilet Paper is a magazine composed entirely of images created by the two artists with the idea of creating a new concept of relationship between artistic language and advertising language, art and fashion .
Images with a vibrant ironic and provocative charge that combine the patina of commercial photography, pop and surrealist evocations, sexual obsessions, suggestions and ambiguity, creating complex orchestrations that smile at academicism and self-referential art criticism.
“Art and advertising are little girls begging us to play with them. We are a lead soldier, we are a runaway horse, we are a doll to be combed, we are a puddle of mud."
Seletti: A fascinating place that combines design with pop art
As a brand, Seletti has written and continues to outline the Italian history of design and furniture. Born in 1964 in Cicognara, near Mantua, by Romano Seletti. The group was immediately characterized by its 360-degree view of the world.
This cosmopolitan vision has produced ideas and projects that have projected the brand into its current dimension, that of a brand that stands out for its personality, movement, provocation and continuous research. The result of unusual combinations, references to the world of art and attention to everyday needs, Seletti products create lifestyles that are always personal and fun.
Seletti, a story of vision and evolution. Since its foundation in 1964, the company has pursued its mission of enhancing professionalism, service and above all continuous product research, aimed at improvement, innovation and originality.
Stefano Seletti, forty-four years old, two daughters, a wife, a family, a company. And then, the Emilian accent. The owner of Seletti, who moved from milk pans and carpet beaters sold in Rome's local markets to the shelves of the MoMA Design Store in New York, is actually the entrepreneur next door, smiling and well-mannered, down to earth and that accent capable of rendering the authenticity, density and beauty of the Seletti reality even better.
